18-yr-old girl dies after portion of roof collapses

A girl student met untimely demise when a portion of house’s roof collapsed. This incident occurred late evening on Thursday at ward no 9 Narmada Ganj, Jogi Mohalla at Dindori district headquarter. The house belong to husband of corporator of Dindori City Panchayat. Collector and Superintendent of Police have directed the officials for registering FIR against the concerning. They also directed Revenue and City Panchayat officers for visiting the spot and vacating the damaged houses.

The deceased has been identified as Deepali Sambhar Yadav (18), a resident of village Titrahi, Samnapur. From last six month she was staying in this house on rent with her three friends. On Thursday she went to washroom and suddenly a big portion of the roof came off. She was trapped in the rubbles. After two hours of toiling by SDRF, police, City Panchayat, locals, the girl was rescued from the rubbles. She was rushed to district hospital where doctors declared her dead . Collector Harsh Singh, SP Vahini Singh, ADM Sarodhan Singh visited the spot and directed for action against the guilty.
