Congress corporators staging protest in front of divisional office no. 11 to press for various demands. Friday demonstrated in front of Raja Gokaldas Dharamshala divisional office to press for various demands. Congressmen said during the protest they raised main issues like improvement in the door-to-door garbage collection system, as garbage piles have accumulated across the city, increasing the risk of diseases such as malaria, chikungunya and dengue.Corporators also pointed out that due to the irregular spraying of insecticides, mosquito menace is worsening.

 

They demanded that roads damaged during the monsoon season be repaired before upcoming festivals and called for an investigation into the corruption involved, questioning why the roads have deteriorated within just six months of being constructed.The corporators also alleged that there is rampant corruption in the implementation of government schemes, including the Sambal Yojana and other initiatives and demanded that such practices be stopped immediately.
