CHESS players of Centre Point School, Katol Road (CPSKR) excelled in the recently held 14th St Vincent Pallotti Memorial Inter-School Chess Tournament and conducted by the Nagpur District Chess Association at school’s premises. The event saw participation from 40 schools across the region. In the competition which was held in different age groups, primary boys of CPS, secured 1st place by scoring an impressive 24.5 points. Aarav Vishwanath shone brightly by winning the 2nd board prize while Mohak Bhagchandani from the high school team won the 3rd board prize trophy. The high school boys team won third place by scoring 22 points.
