The portal meant for recruitment of 72,000 guest faculties in the State remained closed on the second day as the administration has taken no measures to ensure the portal works. ‘The Hitavada’ scribe tried to contact the Commissioner of the Department of School Education Shilpa Gupta even on the second day but there was no response. It is noteworthy that in the midst of highly ambitious plan of the Government to induct 72,000 guest faculties in the State, this comes as a loophole where the portal for the same is on maintenance till August 5 and ironically, last date for the same is August 7 and verification is scheduled to start on August 6.

 

As the portal is inactive and on maintenance, this comes as a serious case of irresponsibility from the administration’s side. As one clicks on the portal trying to fill the form with an aspiration of getting recruited as a guest faculty, a reddish label pops up on the screen saying, “Portal par maintenance chal raha hai” (Portal is undergoing maintenance). Interestingly, once again, ‘The Hitavada’ also tried to open the screen but the same message floated on the desktop.
