Sir,
Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, the Chief of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) while speaking recently at a village level workers meeting organised by Vikas Bharti at Bishunpur in Gumla district of Jharkhand has asserted that after the Covid-19 pandemic, the world has come to believe India has the roadmap to peace and happiness. Yes, Covid-19 was a Black Swan event that had devastated the world. Managing the crisis of that massive scale and more particularly in the world’s most populous country India was a mountain-like task. Yet, the manner in which India went about handling this unprecedented crisis by quickly getting the acts together was incredible.
Not just the people of India but many countries in the world during those critical times were hugely benefited by India’s outstanding vaccine diplomacy that had helped to save the lives of several millions. The RSS chief has sought to highlight the glory of “Sanatan Dharma” that essentially believes in the welfare of mankind and universal peace. Few takeaways from his talk are worth mentioning here again that are inspiring. “The Sanatan Sanskriti and Dharma did not come from royal places but from Ashrams and forests. Interestingly, Dr. S. Jaishankar, the MEA also stated sometime back in one of his talks “India is a mindset”, and, “Culture is a country’s brand”. India is a voice of peace.
