The State Government has accepted the resignation of retired Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer S S Bajaj as Director General of Chhattisgarh Council of Science and Technology (CCOST) and Chhattisgarh Regional Science Centre. In this regard, General Administration Department, Government of Chhattisgarh has issued an order. According to the order, the resignation of S S Bajaj from the post of Director General of the CCOST and the Regional Science Centre was accepted from August 31. Outgoing Director General Bajaj was given farewell by officials and employees of the Chhattisgarh Regional Science Centre in a function held at the office of the Science Centre in the state capital on Friday. He was dedicated to enhancing science education through innovative programmes and interactive exhibits, leaving a lasting impact on the Centre’s mission. Project Director Dr Shirish Kumar Singh praised Bajaj’s leadership. Dr Amit Ram, Amit Meshram and Pragya Kadam also praised the works of S S Bajaj. S S Bajaj was honoured with a memento and bouquet as a token of appreciation.
