A DELEGATION of Nag Vidarbha Chamber of Commerce (NVCC), the leading traders organisation of Vidarbha under the guidance of Sachin Puniyani, NVCC Secretary called on Ajit Pawar, Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister of Maharashtra at his Nagpur office and submitted a memorandummentioning thedelay by exporters in getting GST refund.

 

Puniyani toldAjitPawar that GST paid by exporters is usually refunded to them through IGSTin2 to 3 months.Presently, it is seen that in MIHAN and Borkhedi, Nagpur it is taking more than 1 year for exporters to get their Integrated Goods and ServicesTax (IGST) refund. Pawar after listening to therequestof thedelegationpromised to solve this issue. He contacted Ashish Sharma, State GST Commissioner, andinstructed him to solve thisproblem and to take up thismatter with the GST department. Swapnil Ahirkar, VicePresident of NVCC, Hussain Ajani, Executive Member, CA Umang Agarwal and Adv.Nikhil Agarwal were also present.
