Dispute over timings: Cops nab two for assaulting bus driver

Danish Khan (28), a resident of Jahangirabad, and Johab Khan (21), a resident of Aish Bagh, were arrested by the Misrod police personnel on Wednesday for physically assaulting a bus driver over a dispute that arose over timing of the bus. The goons vandalised the cameras that were installed inside the bus. According to the information, the arrest of the two was initiated after a complaint was filed by Vivek Udwani, a resident of EWS 56 Quarter Tila Jamalpura on September 3. “Danish and Johab broke into my bus on September 3 at 1:48 pm at 11 mile Hoshangabad main road and asked me to not board passengers from the stop at this time. When I objected to this, the two started swearing at me and assaulted me physically. They also broke the cameras installed inside the bus”, said Vivek Udwani, who was given death threats by the accused. Based on the information, furnished by Vivek, the Misrod Police constituted a team headed by station in-charge Manish Raj Singh to investigate the matter. The team during investigation arrested the two from over bridge 11 mile by invoking Section 170 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS).
