“Acceptance of Sangh’s ideology has guided many individuals who are now serving the society and Sudhir Pathak is a perfect example of it. Pathak’s writing is the reflection of Sangh’s culture,” said Dr Mohan Bhagwat, Sarsanghachalak, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh here on Thursday. Dr Bhagwat expressed his thought during the 75th birthday programme of Sudhir Pathak. The programme was held by the Pathak family. Pathak is a veteran journalist and former Editor of Tarun Bharat. Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport and Shipping, was the guest of honour of the programme. Sudhir Pathak and his wife Neelima Pathak also shared the dais during the event. “Joining RSS and accepting the ideologies of the Sangh are two separate things.

Those who adopt the ideology are always successful in life,” said Dr Bhagwat. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari in his speech said, “Enlightenment of society is the most important goal of journalism. The goal is somehow lagging in modern journalism but Pathak has always followed this goal in his writing. Young journalists should learn the art of journalism from this veteran journalist.” The Pathak couple were honoured during the programme at the hands of Dr Bhagwat and Gadkari. A book named ‘Athavanicha Hindolyawar’ penned by Sudhir Pathak was also released during the programme. Shrikant Gadge, Anil Rajurkar, Nanda Apte, Ashwini Mayekar, Vijay Jawandhiya, Mrunal Naniwadekar, Laxmanrao Joshi, Anil Dandekar and others were also present during the programme.
