Teej Milan, social gathering fill air with enthusiasm

 

 

Teej Milan and social gathering of Kanya Kubz Vaishya Halwai Bhunjwa Bhurji Samaj Durg Chhattisgarh was organised at Swami Vivekanand Bhawan Padmanabhpur Durg. President Prahlad Kashyap presented the welcome speech while the guests were welcomed by secretary Jitendra Kashyap. Paro Gupta, Meena Gupta and Radhika Kashyap from women committee expressed their views. The programme was conducted by Rakesh Gupta. The programme started with Chhattisgarhi cuisine competition in which first place was bagged by Chhaya Kashyap, second Anupama Kashyap and third Neeta Deepak Kashyap. In Teej Puja Thali Sajao competition, first place went to Kinjal Kashyap, second Priya Gupta and third Chhaya Kashyap.

 

In Teej Queen competition, first Sharda Kashyap, second Priyanka Gupta and third Manisha Kashyap. In painting competition on the theme of water conservation first place was bagged by Aaradhya Kashyap, second Anika Kashyap and third Ojas Kashyap. Chief guest Puran Lal Gupta, along with the prominent people of Chhattisgarh Raipur Samaj were felicitated by presenting shawls and coconuts. Also, Samla Devi, Shanti Devi, Lakshmi Devi, Usha Devi, Shashi Devi, Vidya Devi, Bina Devi Kashyap, Ramshankar Gupta, Rammanohar, Ramgopal, Govind, Shankar Lal, Ramesh Kashyap, Thakur Ram, Jagdish Kashyap and Lakshmi Narayan Gupta were honoured. Gifts and certificates were given to all the winning participants by the society. Tripti Gupta, Mamta Gupta, Anupama, Shashi Suvidhi Kashyap, Alka Gupta, Deepti, Manisha, Sharda Kashyap were present as judges. The co-ordinator of the programme, Harish Kashyap, Vinay Kashyap, Pintu Gupta, Abhilash Gupta, Vijay Gupta, Sunil, Raju Gupta, Raju Kashyap, Dinesh Gupta and others made remarkable efforts for the success of programme.
