AUSPICIOUS Ganesh Utsav is being celebrated with great enthusiasm throughout the district. Idols of Lord Ganesha have been set up in various locations, with elaborate pujas taking place in grand pandals. This year, the thematic idols are particularly captivating devotees. At Sitamani Chowk, a specially themed idol of Lord Ganesh has been installed. The theme for this year's celebration is ‘Save Trees,’ and the idol has been artistically decorated to resemble birds, highlighting the environmental message. Pandit Pradeep Shukla is behind the installation of this striking idol, which has attracted a large number of visitors.

 

The Sitamani Ganeshotsav Samiti has crafted both the pandal and the idol with a focus on environmental protection. The committee aims to raise awareness about the environment through the Ganesh Puja, urging people to conserve trees. As evening falls, an increasing number of devotees are flocking to Sitamani Chowk, enchanted by the uniquely themed Ganesh idol.
