Traffic advisory issued for Eid festivities today

 EID MUBARAK A procession taken out by Bohra community to celebrate Eid Milad-Un-Nabi with a band and horse. The procession passed through major thoroughfares of the city on Sunday.

Movement of vehicles will be restricted on these routes from 1 pm to 8 pm

l Bharat Talkies to Central Library, Itwara
l Kali temple, Talaiya to Budhwara, Kotwali
and Ibrahimpura
l Moti Mosque to Budhwara
l Bharat Talkies to Chhavani road, Mangalvara
 
 
On the occasion of Eid Milad-Un-Nabi, two major processions will be taken out in the city citing which traffic police issued an advisory and has urged people to follow the same to avoid any inconvenience. As per information, the first procession will be taken out in a traditional way commencing from Chhavni Mangalwara, to Bharat Talkies trisection, Central Library, Itwara, Islampura, Band Master trisection, Ranjan Pen Corner, Ibrahimpura and Char Batti square. The procession will also include horses, camels and flags. During the same, vehicles will be able to commute from Royal Market to Teen Mohra, Bhopal Talkies, Hamidia road and Moti Mosque, Retghat, Kamla Park and Polytechnic intersection.
 
Also, vehicles commuting through Nadra Bus Stand to New city will be able to move through Alpana trisection, Sangam trisection, Sabji Mandi, Over bridge, Bajaria trisection and 80 feet road. Denizens going from New Market, MP Nagar, Maida Mill to Bharat Talkies will be able to reach their destination through Subhash Nagar overbridge, Prabhat square, 80 feet road and Bajaria trisection. People going from Talaiya station to Budhwara will be able to move through Lili talkies intersection to reach Jinsi intersection and police control room. Another procession will start from Ashoka Garden and will move through the routes of Sai Baba temple, Ashok Vihar, Pani ki tanki, Mandi intersection, Prabhat cross section, Nabib Nagar, Church road and old SP office.
 
When the procession will reach Parihar Square, the traffic will be diverted from Prabhat side and will be able to travel via ITI. At Prabhat Square, the traffic will be diverted from Subhash Gate, Parihar Square, Bogda Bridge and will be able to travel via Ashoka Garden and Punjabi Bagh. When the procession will reach Bogda Bridge, the traffic will be diverted from Prabhat Square, Bharat Talkies, Jinsi side and will be able to travel via Talaiya, Lily Square, Control Room and similarly when the procession enters from Jinsi, the traffic will be diverted from Old SP Office and from Jinsi side. On reaching Old SP Office, the traffic from Control Room, Talaiya to Lily side will be diverted and will be able to travel via Control Room to Court Square, Subhash Gate, Jinsi, Bogda Bridge. Vehicles coming from places like Indore, Sehore etc. will terminate their journey from Khajuri Bypass, Mubarakpur Bypass, Gandhinagar, Lalghati Chauraha to Halalpur Bus Stand. Entry of passenger buses into the city will be prohibited during the procession. All passenger buses coming from Mandideep Obedullaganj will terminate at ISBT Bus Stand. All passenger vehicles will be banned towards Prabhat Govindpura trisection, Prabhat intersection, Bharat Talkies intersection. Halalpura Bus Stand will be the terminating stand for buses coming from Guna and Gwalior. All types of buses will not be able to come beyond Lalghati towards Royal Market. Passenger buses going towards Indore, Guna, Gwalior from places like Hoshangabad, Betul, Chhindwara, Sagar, Panna, Chhatarpur etc. will be able to use the bypass route.
