Dewangan Jan Kalyan Samiti Bhilai (DJKS) organised Teej Milan at Parmeshwari Bhawan at Pragati Nagar in Risali, Bhilai Women of Dewangan Samaj participated in various competition and activities during the programme. Along with one better than other presentation, Akanksha Dewangan wore the crown of ‘Teej Queen’ white the 1st runner up was Nekprabha and 2nd runner up was Vinita Sunil Dewangan. The women of Dewangan Samaj kept audience engaged many captivating presentations.

 

The winners of various competitions organised for women are Chhattisgarhi Dress Competition Gayatri Dewangan 1st and Ganga Dewangan 2nd, Falahari dish competition Akanksha Dewangan 1st, Yukti Dewangan 2nd and Manju Dewangan 3rd, Shivling Sajao competition Pratibha Dewangan 1st, Gayatri Dewangan 2nd and Damini Dewangan 3rd, Solo Dance competition Vinita Devendra 1st, Pratibha Dewangan 2nd and Akanksha 3rd, Matka Race Gayatri 1st, Gangadevi 2nd and Yuwati 3rd, Couple game Laxmi 1st, Shakuntala Bankure 2nd and Nekprabha 3rd. All the winners were awarded by Samiti. Ghanshyam Kumar Dewangan, President of DJKS, Bhilai, Dr S M Dewangan and Prabha Dewangan graced the programme as special guests. Women of Dewangan Samaj enjoyed the Jhoola (swing), specially provided for occasion. Secretary Vinod Dewangan, Treasurer Gajendra Dewangan, Vice-president Kalpana Dewangan, Reshamlal Dewangan, Hemkailash Dewangan, Satyapal Dewangan, Raju Dewangan, Shakuntala Bankure, Jaishree Dewangan, Laxmi Dewangan and others were present.
