Police arrest vehicle-lifter withstolen two-wheeler worth lakhs

 

 

GANDHI Nagar Police have arrested a vehicle-lifter. According to the information, police while invoking Section 303 (2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) arrested Jitendra Lodhi. Cops during arrest operation have recovered a two wheeler worth Rs 3,50,000. The case against the vehiclelifter was initiated after a complaint was lodged by complainant Kadir Khan on August 20. The complainant stated that his two-wheeler was stolen from Bhagat Singh Colony in Gandhi Nagar. Acting on the directives of the senior police officers, a team was constituted to investigate into vehicle-lifting case. It may be mentioned that the The team received a tipoff from an informer about Jitendra Lodhi. Based on the information, cops interrogated Jitendra who revealed that the two wheeler was purchased from Shaahil Bachcha resident of Karond. Jitendra was produced before the court whereas Shaahil Bachcha is still absconding.
