In the shocking toddler rape case, the district administration has sealed the private school. The higher authorities have also started the process of cancelling the registration. Agitated people in the State capital staged protest demanding death sentence to the accused and were up in arms over the school not paying heed towards the complaint that was raised by the minor’s mother. Talking to ‘The Hitavada’, SDM Archana said, “We have sealed the school building and have also initiated the process to cancel the registration. The decision was taken in a high-level meeting on Thursday.” Notably, the victim’s mother stated that her daughter had injuries in her private parts. The injuries occurred as an act of the shameful and heinous crime by her teacher Kasim Rehan. People are resentful against the school for trying to hush up the matter and not taking adequate steps against the accused teacher, the mother approached the police station and lodged an FIR. Members of the Right Wing organisation sitting in front of the school burnt effigies of accused and demanded death sentence for him.

“We want strictest punishment for the accused. We want authorities to hang Kashim Rehan,” demanded the protestors. Furthermore, discontented with the school authorities about the case, the agitators demanded that school’s building should be demolished. “The school is considered a holy place where Goddess Saraswati resides and is worshiped. We condemn the shameful incident that have shaken faith of people reposed in the temple of education. We want that license of the school should be cancelled and authorities must use bulldozers to demolish the school building,” said another protestor. Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav have directed the authorities to take stringent action against accused. He stated that Chief Secretary has been asked to urge the Chief Justice to constitute a special court and provide speedy justice to the family.
