If animals could speak...

 
Caged freedom unleashes a wild fear, 
Nobody knows who will care
But if animals could speak, 
The entire humanity would weep.
The street dog painted red, 
The cow left homeless
The elephant killed for its tusk 
And the deer for the musk.
No one hears their cries
History glorifies the hunter, 
Animal was a sacrifice.
How far can humans take this greed?
Not worrying once about these 
innocent breeds.
Someone has said the truth deep
If ever animal could speak 
The entire humanity would weep
