Sub-Engineer, Special Gang In-charge of municipal corporation suspended

 

 

As per the instructions of Ujjain Collector Neeraj Kumar Singh, for negligence in removing temporary encroachment in the area around Mahakaleshwar temple, Ujjain Municipal Commissioner Ashish Pathak has issued an order suspending Principal Deputy Engineer Municipal Corporation Gopal Boyat and Special Gang In-charge Manish Bali with immediate effect. At the same time, Mahakal temple’s security officer Platoon Commander Dilip Bamaniya has also been suspended.

 

As per the order issued, Principal Deputy Engineer and Special Gang In-charge Municipal Corporation were entrusted with the responsibility of removing temporary encroachment from the entire Mahakal area. Due to negligence towards work, two persons died in the said accident and other persons were also injured when the wall fell on the businessmen who were doing business by making temporary encroachment near the wall near Mahakal temple on Friday. Due to which, due to negligence, Chief Deputy Engineer Municipal Corporation Boyat and Special Gang Incharge Municipal Corporation Bali are suspended with immediate effect.
