Kushwaha chaired a meeting
to review the preparations for
maintaining law and order situation during forthcoming
Ganesh Utsav and Eidmiladun-Nabi festivals.

Vidyarthi, Superintendent of
Police, Aditya Pratap Singh,
gazetted officers and SHOs of
urban and rural police stations
attended the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, IG
Anil Singh Kushwaha reviewed
preparations for maintaining
law and order arrangements
during forthcoming festivals
like Ganesh Utsav and
Eidmilad-un-Nabi. He sought
information about law and
order arrangements in different areas and informed that
the Ganesh idols and pandals
will be installed at conventional
places and its religious procession will be taken out from
conventional routes.
Officers
were directed for organising
meetings of organising committees, DJ and Light Sound
operators and religious events
to make them sure about necessary precautions.
IG Kushwaha said that the
SHOs of police stations concerned should shoulder the
responsibility of every idol and
religious event to be organised
in their respective areas and
they will look after every single activity to take preventive
action. Special attention
must be paid in suspected
areas of group clashes and
other disputes in the district.
Peaceful festivals celebration
is the responsibility of police,
and officers should ensure
strict implementation on
orders received from police
headquarters.
He directed the officers for
paying special attention in
areas where clashes were
reported in past years and
strengthening their information network for taking
preventive action in case of
any kind of agitation. Senior
police officers along with
gazetted officers should conduct visit in sensitive areas
for better implementation of
law and order arrangements.
Policemen should check
drunken driving with breath
analyser at fixed points and
ensure availability of Balwa
drill materials, tear gas, video
camera and PA system to
avert any nuisance during
the festival.
