CPSI, Somalwar, dominate squash meet

 

 

CENTRE Point School International (CPSI) and Somalwar School, Maa Umia CBSE, Kapsi dominated the squash tournament in NMC and Rural level respectively. The tournament was organised by the District Sports Office in association with Squash Association Nagpur and MIA-CSR held at MIA-CSR, Central MIDC Road. In the NMC level Under-17 final, Sameera Prakash Naidu of Centre Point School International clinched the trophy by beating Anika Jhawar 11-1. Similarly, Sara Salil Deshmukh, also of CPSI, claimed the Under-14 crown. In Rural level competition, Somalwar School Maa Umia CBSE, Kapsi’s Kavya Parate won the Under-14 title while the Under-17 girls crown went to Sanskriti Hemane.

 

 

The Somalwar School Maa Umia CBSE, Kapsi players won almost all the titles on offer from rural category. Around 55 players from 10 schools participated in the tournament. All the winners are selected for the divisional meet which is going to be held at Wardha. Mahesh Bang, Executive Member MIACSR, Devkisan Tapadia.
