ROMHARSH Mahajan scored a goal in the dying minutes of play as Dinanath High School defeated Anjuman English High School in the District Sports Office organised Under-17 football tournament at Divisional Sports Complex in Mankapur on Wednesday.
Mahajan bulged the net two minutes before final whistle to hand Dinanath an exciting win.
In an another match, Ritul Junghare scored a brace in 7th and 15th minute as Bharti Krishna Vidya Vihar blanked Mahatma Gandhi Centennial High School by two goal to nil.
St Vincent Pallotti rode on goals from Saai Ukey and Kaustubh Ingle’s goals in penalty shoot out as they beat St Michael’s High School 2-0.
Centre Point School, Katol Road blanked Kurvey’s New Model 3-0 with Saket Gajbhiye (14th), Ranbir Jolly (16th) and Shaurya Naidu (19th) being the goal scorers.
Narayana Vidyalayam beat Bhavan’s Civil Lines 3-2 via tie-breaker.
Shourya Chaudhary, Mayank Khambalkar and Saamya Charde scored the goals for Narayana while for Bhavan’s, Viraj Waghaye and Karan Saraswar scored.
