The Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trademarks (CGPDTM) is organising the Intellectual Property (IP) Awards 2024, an initiative dedicated to acknowledging and celebrating outstanding accomplishments in the realm of intellectual property across diverse sectors, including academia.

 

As per information, these awards aim to recognise innovators, institutions, and professionals who have significantly contributed to the progress of IP in the country. These awards are typically presented in a ceremony held in New Delhi, where the Minister of Commerce and Industry awards the deserving recipients. In this connection, Universities Grants Commission has requested the higher educational institutions (HEIs) to disseminate this information among the faculties and staff, encouraging them to submit their entries for the IP Award 2024 in the prescribed format (a copy of the National IP award brochure and award forms are attached).
