Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav has said that Guru plays an important role in life. The meaning of Guru is that which takes us from darkness to light. Former President of India Sarvepalli Dr Radhakrishnan dedicated his birthday to teachers. While wishing all the teachers of the State on Teachers’ Day, Chief Minister Dr Yadav said that teachers are building a great generation by efficiently discharging their responsibilities. Chief Minister Dr Yadav, while addressing the Teachers’ Day celebration in Ujjain on Thursday, said that Goswami Tulsidas worked to establish and honour Hindi along with Sanskrit as the main language of Indian society. Our dialects also change into language with gradual development. Eminent litterateurs Madhavrao Sapre and Makhanlal Chaturvedi made a very important contribution in the development of the national language Hindi.
 
Chief Minister Dr Yadav also congratulated the teachers honoured in the programmes. Chief Minister Dr Yadav was addressing the Teachers’ Honour Ceremony-2024 organised at Government Excellent Higher Secondary School, Madhav Nagar Ujjain on Teachers’ Day. On this occasion, Rajya Sabha MP Balyogi Umeshnath Maharaj, MLA Anil Jain Kaluheda along with other officials were present. “The word Guru comes from Sanskrit, we connect with Sanatan culture by believing in the Guru-Shishya tradition. Guru does the important work of taking us from darkness to light. To change chaos into order, the vision of a Guru is needed. It is a pleasure that the Government has changed the name of Vice Chancellors to Kulguru.” CM Yadav emphasised. On this occasion, he also felicitated the teachers of Ujjain district who gave 100% result in High School and Higher Secondary Board examinations by presenting them shawl, coconut and citation. Also, 11 ISO certified cluster principals of Ujjain were felicitated by presenting them ISO certificates. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav in his speech remembered former President of the country, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and said that language develops gradually from dialect and dialect changes into language. He said that Hindi has developed in the last one thousand years. The Chief Minister said that Goswami Tulsidas, despite being a Sanskrit scholar, has established Hindi as the language of the society. By composing Ramcharit Manas in Hindi, he has taken Ramayana to every home. Remembering his father, he said that the body is mortal. “It was he who taught us to use our time wisely by walking on the path of truth”. He said.
 
The Chief Minister also wished all the teachers present at the function on Teachers’ Day. The Chief Minister also got a group photo taken with the honoured teachers at the function. The address of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was heard in the Teachers’ Day function organised at Government Subhash School of Excellence. In the programme held at Subhash School, School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh said that India’s Guru-Shishya tradition is cited as an example all over the world. The knowledge given by the Gurus inspires us throughout our life.
 
It is a fortunate opportunity to honour the Gurus. On Teachers’ Day, 12 teachers who got 100% result in the board examination were also honoured. School Education Minister Singh said that in the digital age, it is challenging to educate students effectively. In such a time, patience between teachers and students is an important aspect. Remembering former President Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, School Education Minister Singh said that a teacher reaching the highest post in the country reflects the strong democratic system of India. He said that Dr Radhakrishnan always had respect for teachers. This feeling of his further increased the respect of teachers in the society. School Education Minister Singh said that continuous efforts are being made to improve the quality of education in the state. In order to enable students to choose better options in the field of employment in schools, the School Education Department is providing counselling through subject experts. He said that Subhash School is working on branding the department for its excellence across the state. In the program, children shared their experiences and recited poems centered on patriotism.
