Municipal Corporation continues its efforts to capture and manage stray animals wandering on streets and public places. As part of this initiative, the team of the Gauvardhan Project Branch of the corporation acted on complaints received through CM Helpline and other sources.

 

On Friday, the team captured 21 stray animals from various parts of the city and sent them to the Kanji House. Additionally, six sick or injured animals were sent to the Asra shelter for treatment and care. Under the guidance of Municipal Commissioner Harendra Narayan, the operation took place in areas such as Ratibad, Neelbad, Link Road No. 02, Bagsevania, Bairagarh CTO, and Karod Jail, where these animals were roaming freely. The municipal team is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of both the animals and the public.
