District Education Officer Ghanshyam Soni during his surprise inspection in schools operated at Majhouli block, issued notice to 02 principals and 02 teachers for their ignorant attitude. The DEO further instructed the teachers to stop teaching students using guides and make efforts to clear every doubt of students.
It may be mentioned that to bring quality in the education of the district, DEO, Soni conducts continuous inspections in the district. On Friday, the DEO reached Government Higher Secondary School Bargi Badkhera, Government Higher Secondary School Pounda, Government Girls Higher Secondary School Majhauli and CM Rice School Majhauli of Majhauli block to inspect the teaching-learning activities there.
During inspection at Government Higher Secondary School, Bargi Badkhera, the DEO found that the teachers were not doing their teaching job in proper way, due to which the students lose their interest in studies.
DEO Soni said that the teachers should tell the children important questions and conduct revision properly. At Government Higher Secondary School Pauda, it was observed
that children were being given less homework and their copies were not checked properly. The teachers were using guides while teaching students in the school. The DEO felt that special attention was required for weak children. At Government Girls Higher Secondary School Majhauli, it was found that the teachers were not giving homework to the children.
The English subject teacher Virendra Vishwakarma misguided by entering details of home work given to the students, in his daily diary, but it was not actually given. Similarly, teacher Mukesh Sahu, Lecturer Maths, was not performing his duties as per the daily diary and student data register. In CM Rise School Majhauli, DEO, Soni told the parents to remain in constant touch by informing them about the educational status of the children, weak children were identified and asked for special classes. The school’s peon Rakesh Kumar Rover was absent for a long time without any information. DEO Ghanshyam Soni has issued show cause letters to 2 principals and 2 teachers and sought their reply on the irregularities found during inspection. In case of unsatisfactory reply, disciplinary action will be proposed.
