Regional Director Dr Mishra flags off Mobile Medical Unit

Regional Director Dr Sanjay Mishra flagged off mobile medical unit received by Jabalpur district under PM Janman Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyay Mahabhiyan, from the office of Regional Director Health Services Division Jabalpur on Friday. This mobile medical unit has been given for tribal dominated block Kundam of Jabalpur. On the occasion, Joint Director Dr Devendra Shalwar, Division Coordinator Mobile Unit Deepak Vishwakarma, Vikas Srivastava and staff were present.

 

Through the mobile medical unit, facilities like free medical consultation, free checkup and service, vaccination, Ayushman registration, sickle cell, TB checkup, maternity health services, non-communicable disease checkup, sugar, BP checkup and treatment, oral and breast cervical, cancer checkup, anemia checkup and treatment etc. will be administered in the tribal-dominated areas. Medical officer, physiotherapist, lab technician, nursing staff will be present in the mobile unit, who will visit rural areas as per the program received from the district level and provide health services. The patients will be served with 65 types of medicines and 15 types of checkup facilities, available in the mobile unit. Chief Medical and Health Officer, Dr. Sanjay Mishra said that the mobile unit will go to the rural areas of Kundam block and provide health services there from January 11, 2025.
