Speeding truck rams into college bus killing one, injuring 9 students

 

A tragic accident occurred in Bhopal on Friday afternoon when a speeding truck collided with a college bus, killing one student and injuring nine others. The incident took place near the NIFT College in Bhauri, where the bus was carrying 51 students and four staff members from the private engineering college. According to eyewitnesses, the truck was being driven at a high speed and rammed into the bus from behind, dragging it for several meters. The impact was so strong that the bus was pushed onto another road.

 

The driver of the truck fled the scene, leaving behind a trail of destruction. The deceased student, Vinit Sahu, was a resident of Birsinghpur Umariya and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Two other students, Vimal Yadav and Shivam Lodhi, are in a critical condition and are being treated at a private hospital. Twenty-nine students suffered minor injuries, while 13 others escaped unharmed. The police have launched an investigation into the incident and are searching for the truck driver. The accident occurred around 2 pm when the bus was returning from a visit to the IISER College. The students were on their way back to their college when the tragedy struck. The police have registered a case against the truck driver and are investigating the cause of the accident. The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, and the authorities are working to provide support to the families of the victims.
