AAKAR College of Management for Women recently hosted the ‘Aavishkar: Research Poster Competition, Nagpur Zone’, organised by SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai. The event brought together students from various colleges in the Nagpur Zone, showcasing their innovative research projects. The competition received an overwhelming response with 32 group entries. The programme was inaugurated by Dr Abhay Shende, Principal, JL Chaturvedi College of Engineering, Nagpur, and Pritam Zalke, CEO, Cloudprix Technology Solutions, Nagpur. The judges were impressed by the enthusiasm and quality of work presented by the students.

 

They emphasised the importance of such activities in the current era and guided students on how to convert their projects into successful startups. The judges also informed students about various Government schemes available to support startup initiatives. Dr Pranjal S Bogawar, Principal and Dr Sachin Bogawar, Director expressed gratitude to the Vice Chancellor Dr Ujwala Chakradev, PVC Dr Ruby Ojha, Registrar Dr Vilas Nandavadekar, and Dean Dr H Jadhav for providing the opportunity to host the event.
