 Over 800 students from CG showcase skills
 
The state-level UCMAS (Universal Concept of Mental Arithmetic System) Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Competition recently took place in Raipur, where over 810 students from across Chhattisgarh showcased their mathematical skills. Participants used the swift and simple methods of UCMAS Abacus to solve 200 specially designed mathematical questions within 8 minutes. Remarkably, many students completed the entire paper in less than the given time, earning a place in the merit list. The prize distribution and graduation ceremony for the event was held on Sunday at the Maharishi Valmiki Utsav Mandap, Shri Ram Mandir.
 
All rank holders from across state were present to celebrate their achievements. More than 250 students were awarded trophies and medals for their outstanding performance. UCMAS Risali, Bhilai, stood out with remarkable results in various categories. Chetas Mandale, Patnala Kaushal, and J. Tejans secured the Champion titles. Charvi Mandale and Ishani Dewangan were declared first runners-up, while Palaksh Yadu and J. Utkrisht earned second runner-up positions. Saksham Belchandan and Rishabh Sahu were third runners-up, followed by Mimansha Singh as fourth runner-up and Anay Garg as fifth runner-up. Additionally, students like Swarit Bhimte, Kalash Verma, Anika Garg, Aradhya Patel, Khushansh Dewangan, Raina Sahu, and Marya Samriddhi Linda secured spots in the merit list. Rekha Shukla, Director of UCMAS Risali Center, congratulated all the students and parents for their dedication and success. She announced that a felicitation ceremony for the winners would be held on January 26 at Maitri Garden, where the children will be honoured with shields and medals.
