A land fraud case has come to light in the Bagsevaniya police station area, where the accused allegedly duped the complainant by taking Rs 15 lakh and forging documents to transfer ownership of a plot of land.

The complainant, 79-year-old Satyanarayan Murti, who owns a 22,000 square-feet plot in the Nirupam State Bagsevaniya, lodged a complaint with the police on Thursday. Murti claimed that the accused, Pawan Kumar Singh, Dharmendra Saxena, and his wife Jyoti Saxena, tricked him into signing fake documents, which allowed them to register the land in their name. The registration papers indicate the land’s value at Rs 1.25 crore, but the complainant alleges that he only received Rs 15 lakh from the accused. According to Murti, the fraudsters forged the documents and transferred the ownership of the land to themselves, including Dharmendra Saxena and Jyoti Saxena. The Bagsevaniya police have registered a case against Pawan Kumar Singh, Dharmendra Saxena, and Jyoti Saxena. An investigation into the matter is ongoing.
