Suhani Pathak, a rising star from Chhattisgarh, has made the state proud by clinching the gold medal in the prestigious RYP National Pickleball Ranking Tournament, held in Bhubaneswar. The tournament, organised by the Pickleball Association of Odisha under the aegis of the All India Pickleball Association, showcased exceptional talent from across the nation over its three-day schedule. On the opening day, Suhani exhibited an outstanding performance in the Under-16 singles category, advancing to the finals with remarkable ease.
 
In a gripping semi-final match, she dominated her opponent, Anisha Panigrahi, securing an impressive victory with a scoreline of 11-04. Suhani carried her momentum into the finals, where she faced Anjali Pal of Maharashtra. Demonstrating her skill and determination, Suhani triumphed with a decisive 15-10 victory, earning the coveted gold medal. Her achievement has drawn accolades from the sports community in Chhattisgarh. Dr Vikram Singh Sisodia, Secretary General of the Chhattisgarh Olympic Association, and Rupendra Singh Chauhan, General Secretary of the Chhattisgarh State Pickleball Association extended their heartfelt congratulations to Suhani for her exceptional performance and bringing glory to the state.
