CHHATTISGARH State Renewable Energy Development Agency (CREDA) has been working on implementation of non-conventional energy sources to provide benefits through important solar based schemes of Government of India and State Government to citizens of State. As per the intention of the Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, the work of ensuring excellent quality of works and making the zero tolerance policy successful and effectively implemented by CREDA CEO Rajesh Singh Rana. Under this zero tolerance policy, CEO Rajesh Singh Rana is personally making frequent visits to ensure the quality of the solar plants. In continuation of the visits, Rajesh Singh Rana conducted a surprise inspection of solar plants installed under the schemes like Jal Jeevan Mission Scheme, Solar Sujala Scheme, Rural Electrification etc in various villages of Mungeli and Bilaspur districts of Bilaspur Division. During the series of visits, the CREDA CEO inspected the 2.4 kilowatt off grid solar power plant installed by CREDA’s registered unit Sai Construction in village Bandhwa of Lormi development block.

 

Thereafter, CEO CREDA inaugurated Jal Jeevan Mission Phase-02 in village Chakda of Lormi development block installed by Solar Aqua Solution. The solar drinking water plant installed was inspected wherein solar pump was found to be working. However, pipe line work by PHE was incomplete. CREDA officials present there were instructed to complete the pipe line work by coordinating with the PHE department for villagers get benefit of solar drinking water from plant installed by CREDA. Later, the CEO inspected the solar home light plants installed under PM Janman Yojana in the houses of the special backward tribe Baiga families residing in Dudhwadongri village of Lormi development block. A total of 12 solar home light plants have been installed at the residents’ places under the PM Janman Yojana.

 

The CEO also inspected 3 solar power plants at the beneficiary Hemlal’s place under Solar Sujala Yojana in Dhaniya Dole village of Mungeli district, solar drinking water plant installed under Jal Jeevan Mission Phase-02 and three solar power plant installed under Solar Sujala Yojana at the residence of beneficiary Baishakhu Kaushik in village Amsena of Bilaspur district. After inspection by CEO, the officers and employees of CREDA were directed to carry out the work under various projects of CREDA like Jal Jeevan Mission, Solar Sujala Yojana, Solar High Mast Plant and regular inspection for completion on time maintaining the specified standard.
