THE Indian Institute of Architects (IIA), Nagpur Centre, Maharashtra Chapter will be organising the 25th edition of Rachana exposition from January 10 to 13 at Ladies Club Lawn, Civil Lines. The chief guest, Vijay Phanshikar, Editor - The Hitavada will inaugurate the Rachana exposition on January 10 at 11 am. This was informed by Parag Yelne, Chairman of IIA, Nagpur Centre, Maharashtra Chapter in a press conference on Wednesday.
The Convenor of Rachana Raviraj Sarwate, Co-convenor Rahul Lokhande, Aniket Khodwe, Rajesh Kakde, Parikshit Choudhari, Sunil Degwekar, Jiten Srivastava, Subodh Chinchmalatpure, Ziyaullahkhan Pathan, Veepa Jariwala, Sampada Peshwe, Anuradha Tikkas, Husain Karori, Sunny Gupta, Kapil Kawle, Rahul Dandekar and Vishal Khedikar were also present in the meeting.
Yelne further said that the exposition presents a unique platform for manufacturers, processors, exporters, dealers, suppliers, designers, builders, developers, buyers and end users. Services, systems, automation and the latest designs and technologies, etc., for the most diverse goods and products will be displayed in the expo. The exposition will be open from 11 am to 9 pm. There will be free entry and parking facility for all the visitors.
“Over the years, Rachana has been receiving an overwhelming response from participants, architects and designers, engineers, builders and general public,” he stated.
There will be more than 100 stalls dealing with building and interior designing materials, home and office automation systems, building services and construction equipment at the expo. The structure of this exhibition has been designed as a perfect show window of the advance technology, Sarwate added.
There are separate pavilions for the corporate sector, which include gold, silver and bronze sponsors. Corporate showcase and professionals can interact in the Corporate Lounge.
Architects, interior designers, engineers, builders, developers, contractors, students and people from Vidarbha, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, general public as end users and invitees from various fields will participate in the exhibition. It will be visited not only by architects but also by about 5000 citizens every day.
“Rachana 2025 offers a modern, stylish, unique and upmarket design vocabulary. So people in large numbers should be part of Rachana exposition. They can interact with company representatives, learn, network, explore, exchange ideas and grow businesses,” Khodwe added.
