Mary Poussepin’s Academy, Anjuman English High School, Podar International School, Godhni, NMC MAK Azad Urdu High School started their campaign on a winning note on the opening day of the YMCA Under-16 Nagpur District Inter-School Football Tournament for Boys & Girls at Nagpur Gramin Police Ground, Suyog Nagar, on Wednesday.
Mary Poussepin’s Academy – thrashed Heritage International School 4-1 while Anjuman English High School drub Sindi Hindi High School, Khamla 5-0.
Earlier, the tournament was inaugurated by Pratibha Bharose, Reserve Police Inspector, Nagpur Rural Police Headquarters and Dr Stanley Gregory, General Secretary, Nagpur District Football Association. Niraj Singh, General Secretary, YMCA, Pankaj Bhandarkar, Prashant Bansod, Gitesh Jambhulkar, Vishal Gothane and others were also present on the occasion.
