Giving new mantra of ‘Triple T’: Textile, Tourism and Technology, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday made a strong appeal to investors, urging them to capitalise on the abundant opportunities in Madhya Pradesh, particularly in the innovative sectors. Addressing a distinguished gathering at the Global Investors’ Summit in Bhopal on opening day, the Prime Minister underscored the immense potential in key areas such as textiles, tourism, and technology. Prime Minister Modi highlighted the crucial role of the textile, tourism, and technology sectors in driving India’s growth. During the event, PM Modi launched 18 new policies focused on industries, startups, MSMEs, tourism, and film production, setting the stage for enhanced economic growth in the State.

 

As one of the world’s leading producers of cotton, silk, and viscose, India owes much of this success to Madhya Pradesh, renowned for its Chanderi and Maheshwari sarees. The State is also responsible for 25% of India’s organic cotton production. The development of seven textile parks, including one rapidly emerging in Madhya Pradesh, presents lucrative opportunities for investors to leverage the region’s textile potential, the Prime Minister said.
