The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the admit cards for the National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Examination (NIFTEE) 2025. Candidates who have registered for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG)
programmes, including NIFT Lateral Entry Admission (NLEA), can now download their hall tickets from the official website.
The entrance exam is scheduled to be held on February 9, across 92 test centers in 81 cities throughout India. The exam will be conducted in both Hindi and English mediums in Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Paper-Based Test (PBT) modes, depending on the programme.
The NIFT entrance exam is being conducted for multiple courses, including Bachelor of Design (B.Des.), Bachelor of Fashion
Technology (B.F.Tech.), Master of Design (M.Des.), Master of Fashion Management (MFM), and Master of Fashion Technology (MFTech.).
The General Ability Test (GAT) for B.Des. and NLEA B.Des. is scheduled from 9:00 AM to 11, while the Creative Ability Test (CAT) for the same course will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The GAT for B.F.Tech. and NLEA B.F.Tech.
will take place from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. Candidates applying for both B.F.Tech. and B.Des. must appear for GAT from 9 am to 12 noon and CAT from 2:30 PM to 5:30 pm. Similarly, the GAT for M.Des. is scheduled from 9 am to 11 am, followed by CAT from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
The GAT for M.F.Tech. and M.F.M. will take place from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon, with the MFM and M.Des. combined candidates required to appear for CAT in the afternoon session.
Candidates must download their admit cards from the official NIFT or NTA website using their application number and date of birth/password.
On the exam day, candidates should arrive at their designated centers well in advance. It is mandatory to carry a printed copy of the admit card, a valid photo ID proof, and necessary stationery items. Electronic devices, study materials, or any other prohibited items will not be allowed inside the examination hall.
The NIFT entrance exam plays a significant role in determining admissions for the 2025-26 academic session, making it a crucial step for aspirants seeking admission into India’s top fashion and design institutions.
