Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a Skill subject, which can be offered as additional sixth subject along with the existing five compulsory subjects in class X. The AISSE Artificial Intelligence paper is scheduled on March 18 and will be of 2 hours duration. Some of the tips for scoring good marks in Artificial Intelligence theory paper are: Section A has Objective type questions of 24 marks. Solve the MCQ questions whose answer you know well and solve optional questions also as there is no negative marking. In subjective type questions, try to solve additional questions when you are left with time so that if you lose marks in any of the question, additional answer with more marks will be considered in that particular question.

Follow the study material on CBSE skill education website for Al and Employability Skills. Solve previous year question papers. This will help you understand the exam pattern, the type of questions asked, and where to focus your revision. During reading time, quickly skim through all questions to see which ones you can answer easily. This helps in managing time better during the exam.

Structure Your Answer With Case Studies: If asked about an application of Al, start by explaining the concept briefly, followed by a case study or real-world example, and conclude with the potential impact or challenges. Be Precise: In Artificial lntelligence, terms like machine learning, Modeling, supervised, unsupervised and reinforcement learning-based approach, and neural networks need to be defined clearly and concisely. Avoid long explanations that go off-topic. Learn the formulae of Precision, Recall, Accuracy and F1 score and solve different questions. Also practice Assertion and Reasoning questions. Trust yourself, you know more than you think you can do. All the best for upcoming Board exam. (The author is PGT (Computer Science, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's B P Vidya Mandir, Ashti) .
