Unprecedented sight of Holi Milan

Samrasta Seva Sangathan, which has emerged as a youthful organised force that has taken up the task of uniting the society by spreading the colours of harmony, created history on Wednesday. It was probably the first time in the history of Jabalpur when differences between sanyastha-grihastha, rich-poor, women-men, young-old, children-old vanished. The unprecedented sight of the wonderful Holi Milan of Samrasta was seen in the entire city. A huge crowd gathered in the unique harmonious procession that was started from Chhota Phuhara and concluded in a colourful event at D.N. Jain College ground. The procession was taken out under the leadership of Pujya Dandi Swami Shri Kalikanandji Jagatguru Swami Balgovindacharya, Jagatguru Swami Rajaramacharya, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Akhileshwaranand Maharaj, Swami Chaitanyanand, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Radhe Chaitanya Maharaj, Swami Mukunddas Maharaj, Swami Kalinand, Sadhvi Gyaneshwari Didi and Mahant Rajeshwarji. The entire environment became colourful with the showers of colours and flower petals on the procession.
 
The unique Sabarang procession started with the worship of Lord Shri Ram and Mother Sita in the Ram Janaki temple located at Chhota Phuhara in presence of all the saints. Amidst Vedic chanting and Swasti recitation, the president of Samrasta Seva organization, Sandeep Jain welcomed and worshipped all the saints and then made everyone sit on the chariot. The procession that started from Chhota Phuhara reached DN Jain College via Milauniganj, Tamrahai, Kotwali, Sarafa, Kamaniya, Phuhara, Lordganj, Super Bazaar, Shyam Talkies. Around two and half dozen tableaux displayed during the procession charmed the city dwellers.
 
These included more than half a dozen chariots of saints, Holi of Vraj-Vrindavan-Mathura etc., besides tableaux of social harmony, family enlightenment, environmental protection, cleanliness etc. attracted the attention of the society. Simultaneously, tableaux of Ram-Janaki Hanuman, Phag Mandali, Bhajan Mandali, besides the inclusion of Band-Dhamal, DJ, Duldul Ghori, Shyam Band Mandali, Sher Dance Group, Punjabi Dhol Group as well as all cultures created a wonderful atmosphere. On the route, common people also joined the procession and became witnesses of the historic Holi. BJP City President, Ratnesh Sonkar, BJP Rural President, Rajkumar Patel, Lekhraj Singh, Ravi Gupta, DrAkhilesh Gumasta, Prabhat Sahu, Dheeraj Pateria and other eminent personalities were present.
