emphasised the role forests play in sustaining life on earth, highlighting their significance as vital ecosystems and sources of pure air. Speaking on the occasion of World Forestry Day, Dr Yadav passionately called upon the citizens of State to actively participate in forest conservation and tree plantation efforts. “Forests are not just a collection of trees; they are the very foundation of our existence,” stated CM Yadav. “The rich biodiversity and verdant landscapes of our state act as the lungs of our planet, providing us with the clean air we breathe. They are also the natural habitat for a myriad of wildlife species, making their preservation paramount.” Dr Yadav stressed the importance of recognising the inter-connect between human well-being and the health of forests. He reiterated his Government’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding these invaluable natural resources and promoting sustainable forestry practices.
 
In his address, the CM Yadav urged every citizen to take a personal pledge to contribute to forest conservation and tree plantation. He emphasised that individual actions, when combined, can have a significant positive impact on the environment. “On this World Forestry Day, let us all commit to protecting our forests and planting more trees,” Dr Yadav appealed. “By doing so, we are not only ensuring a cleaner and healthier environment for ourselves but also securing a sustainable future for generations to come.” The CM highlighted the necessity of raising awareness about the ecological importance of forests and promoting responsible environmental stewardship. He encouraged educational institutions, community organisations, and individuals to actively participate in tree plantation drives and forest conservation initiatives.
 
The state government has been actively implementing various programs aimed at forest protection, afforestation, and biodiversity conservation. These initiatives include stringent measures to combat illegal logging, promote sustainable forest management practices, and encourage community participation in forest protection. Dr Yadav reiterated that the collective responsibility of preserving forests extends beyond government efforts and requires the active involvement of every citizen. He called upon the people of State to embrace a culture of environmental consciousness and contribute to the creation of a greener and more sustainable future.
