AMBIKAPUR,

IN a creative initiative to promote waste management and environmental awareness, the Ambikapur Municipal Corporation has constructed a replica of the world-famous Eiffel Tower using scrap iron salvaged from the renovation of an old SLRM (Solid Liquid Resource Management) centre. Based on the "Waste to Wonder" theme, the project has transformed discarded items into an attractive landmark. The park also features innovative decorations made from old tires, bottles, and bicycle rings, enhancing its aesthetic appeal. The objective is not just to recycle waste but to inspire citizens toward cleanliness and environmental conservation.

Municipal Corporation Commissioner DK Kashyap stated that such initiatives would boost tourism in the city, encouraging people to visit and appreciate this remarkable artwork. Locals and environmental enthusiasts have lauded the effort, calling it a significant step toward cleanliness and innovation. The park’s transformation has not only become a symbol of creativity but also serves as a reminder of the potential of waste recycling to create wonders. As more people visit the park, the initiative stands as a testimony to the power of sustainable practices in urban spaces.
