Jabalpur Women Kho-Kho team entered semi-finals in ongoing 57th State-level Kho-Kho Competition organised under the banner of MP Amateur Kho-Kho Association.
Jabalpur team defeated Khandwa team with 57 points in the first quarter-final match held on Friday morning. Similarly, Mandla team defeated Satna with 15 point, Rewa won its match with Narsinghpur with 21 points whereas, Harda team claimed victory against Sihore with 6 points.
Once again Jabalpur team won the match played against Betul with 11 points in Men’s category. Similarly, Harda won it’s match with Khandwa with 46 points, Rewa defeated Satna with 10 points and Mandla defeated Shahdol with 17 points.
The semi-finals and final matches were played in the evening. In the first semi-final match of Men’s category played between Jabalpur and Harda, Jabalpur entered the final by defeating Harda.
Similarly, during second semi-final, Mandla defeated Rewa to enter the final round. Similarly, in Women’s category, Jabalpur team defeated Mandla and Rewa defeated Harda to enter the final match.
During final match of Women’s category, Jabalpur team defeated Rewa with an inning and 12 points. While in Men’s category, Jabalpur maintained it’s dominance and defeated Mandla with an inning and 1 point.
Brahmachari Chaitanyanand Maharaj from Baglamukhimath was invited as chief guest during prize distribution ceremony. Sanat Jain, Akhilesh Gupta and Rajesh Kakwani were the special guests. The guests honoured the players of winning teams.
The panel of judges comprised of Sunil Parmar, Anil Singh, Akash Khatri, Deepak Kumar, Rajendra Pyasi and Monika Mehta.
Others who contributed in the event included Pandit Yogendra Dubey, Puja Afreen, Chandrashekhar Swami and
others.
