The play ‘Samrat Vikramaditya ki Shourya Gatha’ was staged at Shaheed Smarak Gol Bazar by the artists of Naytalok Sanskritik evam Samajik Sanstha.
The play was based on the life of Samrat Vikramaditya who was a mighty, just and intelligent ruler. Vikramaditya established his reputation not only in India but also in neighbouring countries.
Vikramaditya’s image was that of a universal emperor, who was unique not only in political terms but also in cultural, literary and judicial grounds. Evidence of Vikramaditya’s universal image and his widespread power is found in historical texts, folklore and archaeological remains.
He started Vikram Samvat after defeating Shaka invaders. Artists including Parag Telang, Vinay Sharma, Ravindra Murhar, Palak Gupta, Manasi Soni, Ankita Ginara, Alisha Kesharwani, Aniket Ahirwar, Aman Rajput, Devendra Jharia, Shankar Bhumiya and Krish Namdev impressed audience with their presence on the stage.
Similarly, Aniket Soni, Hrithik Sahu, Davinder Singh Grover, Guidance Sanjay Garg and Abhishek Tripathi contributed through Management, Costumes and Music. Prasanna Soni was the writer.
