Fake nursing colleges in State: HC asks MPNRS, INC to submit original documents of granting recognition, affiliation to colleges from 2018 to 2022 till next hearing

A PIL was filed in the High Court challenging fake nursing colleges being run in the State. High Court Justice Sanjay Dwivedi and Justice A K Paliwal, while hearing the petition, ordered MPNRS and INC to submit all the original documents related to granting recognition and affiliation to the college from year 2018 to 2022 till next hearing. If the order is not followed, action will be taken against the responsible officer. In the petition filed by Vishal Baghel, President of Law Students Association, it was said that nursing colleges are being run in the State against the rules. Colleges have been granted recognition by keeping the rules aside.
The then officials had amended the recognition rules 2018 thrice. Due to which ineligible colleges were continuously benefited. The High Court had issued instructions to present original file of all the amendments made in rules. Apart from this, instructions were issued to present original file related to the recognition and affiliation of all unsuitable nursing colleges by the Medical University and Nursing Council.
Following the order, original file related to recognition and affiliation was presented in the High Court.
The division bench had directed the petitioner to inspect original file and submit a factual report against the guilty persons. Apart from this, INC was directed to submit the original documents related to recognition of the college found ineligible in CBI investigation. During hearing of the petition, it was told by the petitioner that all the documents are not present in the records provided by the Medical University and Nursing Council.
Apart from this, documents related to recognition have not been submitted by INC. The division bench issued the above order after the hearing.
