Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari said that orange farmers can raise their yields through professional approach, good nurseries and marketing. It is possible to increase the production and income of farmers in Vidarbha through the three factors like good nursery, high quality oranges and marketing.

 

He was speaking at a workshop organised by Agrovision Foundation at Vanamati Auditorium, recently. MP Dr Anil Bonde, MLA Dr Ashish Deshmukh, MLA Dr Sanjay Kute, MLA Dadarao Keche, MLA Sumit Wankhede, MLA Charan Singh Thakur, MLA Pratap Adsad, MLA Shyam Khode, MLA Umesh Yawalkar, CRRI Director Dr Ghosh, senior agricultural expert Dr C D Mayee, Agrovision Foundation Secretary Ravi Boratkar, Ramesh Mankar, Anand Raut, Sudhir Dive and other dignitaries were present on the occasion. Orange farmers from all districts of Vidarbha participated in this workshop.
