Final rites of Martyr Ajay Vishwakarma were
performed at Madhi Khurd village of Rewa district
Soldier Ajay Vishwakarma, passed away during treatment after he met with accident during war exercise. The mortal remains were laid to rest with full Military Honours at his village.
He was resident of Madhi Khurd village of Rewa district. He was seriously injured during war exercise and was undergoing treatment at Roorkie. On April 11, he succumbed to his injuries. Martyr Ajay Vishwakarma was deployed in the 119 Assault Engineer Regiment of the Indian Army at Patiala.
The mortal remains of Martyr Ajay Vishwakarma were brought to his village on April 13 and in evening were cremated with full military honors in his native village Madhi Khurd Tehsil Mangawan, 35 kilometers from the district headquarters. All villagers, local public representatives, administrative officers were present on the occasion. They expressed condolences to Satendra Vishwakarma, father of martyr soldier.
Ajay Vishwakarma elder brother Arvind Vishwakarma is also in Army and currently posted at Ranchi. His father is a farmer and mother is a housewife. An army team led by Subedar Satyanarayan Sharma was present to bid final farewell to the martyr.
