‘Gangaur Parv’ was organised by Agrasen Mahila Samiti in New Khursipar Bhilai. Women of Marwari Samaj participated in this event in large numbers. In the event, women worshiped and adored Gangaur Mata. Apart from this, women participated in various types of programs, which included songs, dance and drama. Agrasen Mahila Samiti President Sangeeta Nemichand Agrawal along with Secretary Prema Garg, Premlata Ramnath, Sharda Sinha, Usha Agrawal, Sharda ji, Bina ji, Premlata Garg and others contributed for this event. Prizes were given in Badi Gangaur and Choti Gangaur where Rishu Agarwal stood first and Sarla Agrawal second in Badi Gangaur while in Choti Gangaur Chandani Agrawal first and Muskan Agarwal was second.

 

Likewise in other competitions Anshu Agarwal and group first, Riya Sharma and group second and Chandni and group stood third. Anju Khaitan, Sunita Khaitan and President of Sector 6 Gayatri Agarwal were present as judges. On the auspicious occasion the Mahila Samiti members presented the amount of Rs 5100 under the Nirdhan Kanya Kanyadaan Yojana to the mother of the girl child. Sangeeta Agarwal, Prema Garg, Sharda Singhania, Premlata Ramnath, Premlata Garg, Sharda ji, Usha ji, Asha ji, Bina ji, Sarla ji, Maya ji, Kavita, Hansa, Anju, Manisha, Deepti, Pratima, Kusum Lakshmi, Anita Sangeeta contributed for the amount collected. Agarwal Mahila Samiti keeps on doing such social work for the needy.
