An exclusive interview with the founder of the world’s first Digital University on AI (as it is being claimed), Dr Hari Krishna Maram, who is awaiting State Government’s response. Meanwhile, Malaysia offered us a red carpet and from July, this year first batch of students will be enrolled, said Dr Hari Krishna Maram, while talking to ‘The Hitavada’.  Underlining their aim to provide ‘Artificial Intelligence Skills to All’, Dr Maram spoke about dynamic job market, how AI has changed education world  and prepare our youth as per the industry demand with ‘The Hitavada’.

Q. Why do you think digital university is necessary to get knowledge on AI, as most of the netizens have internet access and they can learn on their own since they are techno-friendly. 
A. AI has revolutionaries every sector of life and courses and certification on artificial intelligence is at burgeoning stage in the world and in country as well. If someone look for a particular question on internet, he/she will get hundreds of answers including unnecessary and irrelevant. While certification or degree will add value to their learning. It will be in systematic additionally quality teaching, assessment and course curriculum will impart comprehensive as well as pragmatic approach to the learner.
Q. How do you enter in the field of higher education. As your company is already established and enjoying good exposure at international forum. 
A. With more than 60% of its population below the age of 35 years, India has the world’s largest youth population which is extremely crucial for progress and success of a nation. Our youth is digital savvy, innovative thinking and have entrepreneurial spirit. 
With the parent organisation Vision Digital India- the first in India to introduce the AI Trainer, an advanced technology machine developed by Intel Global. This revolutionary tool is set to be a game changer in AI education. We have trained over 1 lakh students and provided outstanding placement opportunities over the past decade. We are excited to launch this AI Trainer, a first in India, alongside cutting-edge, job-oriented AI courses in association with the Global AI Society, under our clear mission: ‘Providing AI Skills to All.’
Q. Just throw some light on your upcoming projects in India?
A. We are planning to launch in Karnataka. It will be part of the ambitious KWIN City project, a premier education hub set to generate an investment of approximately Rs 40,000 crore. The project aims to transform Karnataka’s business landscape and foster a new era of education and innovation. 
The Digital University will
provide students with top-notch, affordable education through partnerships with tech giants like Google, IBM, and Amazon. The curriculum is designed to be hands-on, ensuring students are job-ready upon graduation. We have already launched successful courses in collaboration with various state governments, aiming to empower youth with digital and analytical skills highly sought by the corporate sector.
Q. What is prominent feature of your university project?
 
A. This university offers Advanced STEM programs in 50 languages on AI.
Q. What is your plan to come to Madhya Pradesh?
A. More than two months passed, Bengaluru-based entrepreneur, Digital Brand Ambassador expressed interest to work in Madhya Pradesh during the Global Investors Summit 2025 but till now he has not received any response from State Government. He has got very positive response from Andhra Pradesh and Odisha governments. Just after putting proposal to concern officer, next day, we were called to meet Chief Minister of respective State.
In the month of March, we approached Malaysia. In a very short span of time, things were finalised and we are planning to launch our university there. Probably, in the month of August first batch of students will be enrolled.
