Focus on ‘high-risk’ areas :

The homes of the accusedwere also searched.
Some of the accused were found working as auto-rickshaw drivers, in Sonpapdi factories and in similar jobs. It was suggested that their businesses, work permits and
were advised to check the criminal background of workers before hiring them.
During patrols, handcarts and pavement stalls were also monitored.
When it was discovered that some accused in serious crimes were working as security guards, letters were sent to their agencies with instructions to carry out proper checks. Details of those living outside the city were shared with the relevant DB units. Officers visited their homes to gather details about their identity, job, address, and vehicles. Notices were served to the accused, and preventive action was taken against some of them. CCTV footage was also used for verification.
