at around 12 pm, Ghanshyam, a 40-year-old resident of Ashoka Garden and son of Ashok Chaukse, suffered a severe injury when his leg was severed by a train. Upon receiving the information, constables Shubham and Diwan Singh, stationed with the Charlie team, promptly sprang principle action.
With the help of bystanders, they rushed the injured man to Hamidia Hospital in an autorickshaw for immediate treatment, successfully saving his life. According to doctors, any delay in medical attention could have been fatal. Despite the incident occurring within the jurisdiction of the GRP (Government Railway Police) station, the two constables acted swiftly without hesitation, earning praise from the public and senior officials for their commendable efforts.
