In view of the Chaitra Navratri festival and to maintain law and order, a flag march was conducted in the sensitive areas of Gohalpur, on Saturday evening.
The flag march was conducted under the direction of Superintendent of Police, Sampat Upadhyay (IPS) under the supervision of Additional SP (City), Anand Kaladgi (IPS) and led by CSP, Gohalpur, Sunil Nema, in the presence of SHO, Gohalpur, Pratiksha Marko, along with personnel from Gohalpur Police Station and a company of the Rapid Action Force (RAF).
The march commenced from Gohalpur Police Station and covered key areas including Gohalpur Tiraha, Machhli Market, Nalband Mohalla, Budhi Khermai Temple and concluded at Charkhamba. SP, Sampat Upadhyay extended warm greetings to the citizens of Sanskar Dhani (Jabalpur) on the occasion of Chaitra Navratri, stating that the purpose of the flag march is to ensure that the general public feels safe and secure, and to reinforce the maintenance of peace and order during the festivities. He emphasized that Jabalpur Police is always alert and committed to the safety of its citizens. He warned that strict legal action will be taken against any anti-social elements or criminals attempting to disrupt harmony or engage in unlawful activities, no one will be spared.
