Garuda team inspected a private Pandey clinic located in Durga Nagar Rampur and found that the clinic was run without registration and other required documents. Garuda team members of SDM Gorakhpur, one of the teams formed by the district administration to ensure compliance of regulatory rules in various business establishments and institutions, conducted a surprise inspection at Pandey Clinic in Durga Nagar, Rampur. SDM Gorakhpur Anurag Singh informed that during surprise inspection, conducted under the leadership of Naib Tehsildar Rajesh Mishra, the team found clinic owner Dr Mahendra Pandey at the clinic.

 

The team prepared a panchnama and the team member, Dr Vyas prepared the list of medicines available there, which were found to be of electro homeopathy. However, no patients were found in the clinic during inspection. When asked for documents related to the clinic, Dr Mahendra Pandey told that his license related documents were deposited in the court in a previous case. SDM Gorakhpur told that Garuda team has asked Dr Pandey for information about the case pending in the court and documents attached to it. Action will be taken accordingly. This action taken by Garuda was done in the presence of revenue, police and health department staff.
